      Server Move   09/13/18

I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup. The forum and wiki are now ad free. If you'd like to contribute to keeping it that way, you can do so via paypal or patreon.

Can't breed Sheep

10 posts in this topic

This is unrelated to the "Can't breed chickens" thread; they are totally different bugs.

I have 2 sheep in a pen behind my house. When I rightclick on them with wheat grain, they both show the hearts, they move toward each other, and it indicates the female is pregnant. I then AFKed in my house for about 24 hours (real life time) which is more than the time of a Sheep pregnancy. However, when I returned, the female was not pregnant anymore, and there were no baby sheep. Do I have to do something?

I want lambs! Please help.

EDIT: I was in creative mode so I didn't die while AFKing

I have gone through 2 breeding sessions with pigs, cows and sheep. First round pigs worked, first round cows and sheep did not. Then a patch came out and the cows worked on round 2 but still no sheep. Waiting for round 3 to finish to see what happens.

Found the issue. Baby lambs were spawning in the same location as their mother, and then dying of suffocation damage as soon as they updated. Fixed for the next hotfix.

what.

I dunno. >.> You weren't around, so I looked into it myself and that's what I assume the missing code was doing.

Can't wait for this fix to be applied :) Bringing over new female sheep from distances of 1000+ blocks or more is very time consuming.
