      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Adobe

Thatch is a good material now. It's easy to collect hay and create thatch stacks. They can be placed in а column, they can be used as a material for roof.
But it is a different situation in real. Villagers use adobe instead of raw thatch or hay. The recipe is: thatch (or hay), clay (or dirt), water. Form the blocks and dry them on sunny place. Dry adobe can be used as a material for walls. It is cheap and easy to create.

The only problem i see is the water bucket availability: creation of bucket requires knowledge of metallurgy, but it is not true in real.

You could always use a wooden bucket for the water.

If you have a wooden bucket for water then you are already past this stage of construction.

2 Hay + 1 Clay = 12 adobe bricks? 4 adobe bricks together make an adobe brick block, which can be placed. Nevermind the water, just abstract it out.

Also just wanna throw it out there you should be able to break thatch back down into its hay form.

the drying stage is necessary to make it more real (like it is done for pottery)

Is there a way to make this work without having to add water?  Build 77 sure did change our early-game options by quite a bit.

Adobe... an update is available.

How does Adobe Reader even need that many updates?  It's not Java or Windows.
