      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Animals that run away

Hi everyone, I would like to suggest something that could be easy to implement and quite realistic/believable.

Animals should run away when you approach them, or we could create a varient of this idea, such as:

 

-'Game' animals that are hunted run away from the player, as they are wary of humans

-Animals in a group will run away from the player if one of their kind is attacked withing a certain distance of the animals

-Animals with babies will run away

-All animals run away from you unless you have something they like in your inventory/hand

 

These ideas apply to passive-ish animals, as it would be stupid if aggressive animals ran way from you...

These ideas could be individually implemented or all implemented at once to makes hunting animals more difficult to do.

 

If these ideas have already been suggested, I am sorry for not knowing, but I am new to these forums, so...

Also, if any of these ideas have already been implemented, then please make me aware of this, thankyou!

But what when I have my cows "dommesticated" in my pen? They shoudnt run away from me in that case

domesticated animals have to be tagged in some way. this tag should affect their behavior. domesticated aminals cannot be de-spawned
