      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.

I made some big changes to the server yesterday. Its now running under MCPC+.

 

Starting off, /spawn works, and the world spawn point is in the spawn area. Second, the server now has more anti grief tools, including lockette which players have the option to use. There is no need for lockette if players are assigned there own plots in a town, but its there if you have a need. And last, next time there is an update, I have the ability to use world boarder. It will make it easier to re load the chunks if the world gets corrupted in one of the updates. It also means that the server will eventually have a large pre generated map. 

 

I'm thinking of adding one more plugin. It's called inventory drop chance. Upon death, you drop only a set percentage of your inventory at random. I would like to set it around 80-90%.

i'm getting some errors with tradebooth, it makes the game crash on startup for some reason. I'm using all the mods you provided in the first post.

I'm speechless. This is just the thing i have been looking for.

Now if we get more people to play in there it could turn out to be real winner.

Yeah it's alright now.

 

Pretty good server by the way, i don't know why you guys don't have lots of people, it's pretty solid with those add-ons and with no free spawns (only mytown command).

 

If anyone looking for a server is reading this, look no more, this one's pretty good, and I've been looking for THAT special server for quite a while now.

Good to see you got it working. 

 

Yes you get one home, and one town spawn. This server can start to build up some players as long as there is at least 1 person online, throughout the day.  Players like to feel the world be alive I think. But there are many recurring players.

We have slight problem to find any copper to make basic starting tools :(

Gone around the map and the ground deposits and majority cave deposits are being mined.

If your looking for ground ore to make starting tools, you may have to travel very far. As for now, most metals can now be found on the surface. So surface ores are mostly there to indicate ores in the top layers. You might want give a gold pan a try to get some native copper nugs.

Dodgersfan, letting you know that I can't put lockette on any of the TFC doors. Also, there is this shepard npc that's from the old Seneca. Could you please delete it when you have a chance?

Orange trees do spawn, not sure where, but they do.

I joined the server yesterday, so far loved everything.

Question do we have Dynamap and if not would it be possible to have? Its very helpfull in a multiplayer enviroment.

Loving the Server.

I am used to Towny and the possibility of outposts.

I understand that the plots claimed don't need to be adjacent, but how can I warp to the different mines.

To advance to red and blue steel we need practically all metal ores and they are usually far away from each other.

So I am used to have outposts to the different ore  quarries.

Towny uses the command /t claim outpost and /t outpost # to warp to each one of then.

Any Ideas how can I adapt my gameplay to the server?

I don't allow outpost. Here you can use your /home, and town spawn point. You can also build a "nice looking" harbor with boat, or a tower with a zeppelin. Once the chunks are claimed in both sides of the destination, I can add transport NPC's. All you have to do is build both sides, claim chunks, and post coordinates here.
