      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Metal ornanents (Goldsmithing)

8 posts in this topic

Ok guys, another of my many suggestions

Goldsmithing (can also be coppersmithing and bronzesmithing)

You may believe I mean tools, but no... Imagine you are in the steel age, you live out of steel tools only, but you found large amounts of copper and tin, or zinc in the mines. What about bronze ornaments? A copper vessel? It should be nice to have, goblets, plates, spoons... It should be nice eh?

They do this well in ExtraFirma, creating such fine esthetics in lanterns, plates, etc... However, I believe that projectiles (Arrow heads or Bolts) are always a good use for plentiful copper and bronze.

I think this is a good idea, because theres always extra copper/tin or any other useless metal. Having fancy items would be good.

Even if they had a function. For example, being able to create pots, and such would stop the need for carrying around pottery even in the later ages.

Could expand on food recipes, more elaborate meals could entail the use of plates or other cooking-ware.

Oh god yes, I can see my dwarven vaults filled with gold and silver coins, rings, crowns, gold encrusted weapons and armor, silvery diningware, pearls, gold bars, fine silk, ivory canes, jeweled scabbards, harps with silver springs and such..........

My treasure hunger is tingling at this time of the year.

Yeah, I would like to enjoy decorating my small house in the plain village with copper cookware and plates

It could have practical uses as well, like if you can put food in a platter and eat it(sort of like cake), and get more hunger out of it(I mean, have you seen the amount of food steve spills while eating?)
