      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Cant loead the right Seeds

Hi i use 1.6.4 but every single isle seed that i try will result in something else someone know what that could be?

Welcome to the forum!

 

Where did you get the seed from and for what version was it ?

 

Seeds will most likely not work the same as in 78.0 to 78.5 you could span in trees, in 78.6 you could no longer spawn in trees but in ocean, and in 78.7 you can not spawn in ocean or trees.

 

The seed I use have a spawn point in a tree so recreating it in 78.6 or 78.7 would not give the same result.

 

And of course, seeds for 77 will not work as many things have changed in world gen.

Thx for the response and sry for my bad english.

i would like to have a seed fpr a Lonesome Insle but cant find one i try many seed versions but no one lead me to a lonesome isle.

For example when i try to load this seed from this forum -> http://terrafirmacraft.com/f/topic/4732-b7717-survival-island-0-trees-0-rocks/ i will spawn in a forest o.0 ?

I use 1.6.4 minecraft mcp 8.11 FML 6.4.49.965

Do Someone have a nice Isle seed for my version that rly wokds?

we usually do not call TFC by minecraft version, but by TFC version.

 

You tried loading a TFC build 77.17 into TFC build 78. Of couse it's not working.

 

And the seed I use is not an island, sorry.

However, I do not see the interest of playing in an older version of the game. A would generated in 77 can only be played in 77. As 78 add many features and fix many bugs, I would suggest to play on any random seed or to create new worlds until you find one with a spawn point that you like. It's up to you, but a small island in the middle of the ocean can bring more trouble than anything. How to get animals, will you find a variety of crop, fruit trees, berry bushed, trees, clay, stone that you can turn in flux, stone anvil... it's up to you but I would not live in a small island in TFC.
