      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[Sovled] Anvil Crash

Still can reproduce
Only Forge and TFC
Stone and copper anvils crash when I try to open them. I haven't tried other anvils but I would assume the same.
I had to edit the config files slightly to accomodate for some of the blocks from 1.7, so I think any ids in the 170s range are shifted up a bit. I don't think the anvils were in the 170s though so I don't think that's the problem

So if you delete the edited configs, this still happens? I don't understand why you had to accommodate for blocks from 1.7, since TFC is on Minecraft 1.6.4.. and therefore none of the 1.7 blocks even exist yet.

 

Edit: The crash is happening because it can't find the blueprint texture to find to put on the plan selection button. Did you edit any of the assets or are you using a resource pack?

If I delete the edited configs the game crashes on startup. I know TFC is in 1.6, however my launcher also has 1.7 installed on another profile which messes things up. I figured that editing TFC configs would be easier than deleting that profile and all the 1.7 things. Also not using a resource pack.

The profile and configs are completely separate from each other. The only way that having 1.7 on another profile would affect TFC is if you installed it wrong.

 

Edit: Could you please provide a pastebin of the crash that happens on startup?

Ok, I think I missed the part about also changing the profile with your username as the name. Switching that to 1.6.4 and reinstalling seems to have fixed it.
