      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[Solved] Mode Change bug

Suggested Name: Mode Change Bug

Suggested Category: Annoying

Description: When using the mode change key, you can change to the next mode but then it becomes stuck on that mode. This happens with both the hoe, and the chisel. I tried restarting minecraft, the items did come from creative so, i switched gamemode and crafted like normal and it still happened.

Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: Yes

Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed?: Yes

If yes, which mods? ExtraFirma, and Trade Booths

Hey Chad! I'm guessing when you initially created this world, you generated it in creative mode? Try doing /gamerule doDaylightCycle true

 

Edit: To clarify why this might solve it, the changing of the chisel mode is actually done through packet transfer on the game ticking. The game ticking doesn't properly execute when that gamerule is set to false. This bug really should only happen with worlds that were generated in creative mode, and you can turn the gamerule back off when you are done switching modes if you don't want time to continue passing, just remember to turn it back on to switch chisel modes.

Thanks for the info, I fixed before i saw your post by deleting the world and it work fine on my next world. Marking it as solved, is bug going to fixed anytime soon or are we stuck with it for now.
