      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[Solved] Donkeys drop a lot of meat on death.

I murdered a donkey with a Bronze Sword and it dropped more than an inventory's worth of raw horse meat. I believe this a bug and should be resolved.post-12229-0-51487000-1406353961_thumb.p

This is not a bug. It is the intended behavior. Horses/donkeys are very large animals, and have a lot of meat on them.

 

Edit: For clarification, each one of those 160 oz pieces is 10 lbs. Those 22 pieces in your inventory would be the equivalent of 220 lbs. The average horse weighs between 840 and 1,200 pounds.

 

This is also properly balanced by the fact that the majority of that meat is going to rot away before you can eat it all.

What visual bug? You cannot eat raw horse meat. You have to cook it first.

When you eat Cooked Horse meat (I meant to add that) your hand gets all glitched when you eat it.

Was it freshly cooked? All freshly cooked meats look like they are glitchy when you eat them because they are still hot. Just imagine that your character is taking a bite, noticing it is too hot, then stopping and blowing on it before taking another bite.

If you are new to the mod, I would suggest reading the wiki, or watching YouTube videos of the series. Both Arkas and Etho are popular Minecraft YouTubers, and have videos of TFC.
