      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Got stuck... Can't find the needed materials

I'm about to complete my Wrought Iron anvil then the tools, but i'm really missing grafite and kaolite to make a crucible. Started to look around my copper mine that is in a marble layer, with no sucess.

What tips or tricks can i use to find these powders?

My tip is: Remember that patience is a virtue. Sometimes finding these two things can be some of the worst things to do in the game. Try exploring caves and ravines in the correct stone-layers while regularily checking with a pro-pick. Otherwise if the above strategy doesn't work or can't be carried out due to lack of terrain features then try to stripmine and check with the pro-pick while remembering that patience is a virtue.

kaolite can be found if you use the prospectors pick on the surface in sedimetary areas

Just found kaolite in a ravine... the bellow layer is a grafite possible layer so i will check out when I kill the amount of monsters there. D=
