How big are your veins?

I've found once a really big copper mine. It was literally a life-time copper mine full of rich veins. Before dumping the save I mined over 60 ores and there was plenty more to mine and the pro-pick keep saying "very large".

Found 38x16 nickel, probably more but no place, no place in my 10 vessel. And it is RICH !

Just had an idea that every layer down you go, the veins could be larger.

So the 2nd layer down has larger veins, and the bottom layer has massive veins (could be considered permanent mines).

This would encourage some real searching and reason to dig down.

Up the spawn rate of mobs as you go down through the layers too - risk reward and all that.

Actually, could I add something like this myself using the TFCOre.cfg?

So I'd like each ore to also spawn in larger quantities in the bottom 48 layers, and be as dense and as large as I can make it.

Say adding a section like this for each ore? (in addition to the others).

 

Ideally I'd like a "very large" category for this hehe.
