      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

So this is a very simple suggestion but i think it is really needed, So you know when your trying to like maybe outline something in planks and theirs that tiny little gap that only needs a little like 4 x 4 bit of block in it, so i was thinking maybe you can take a saw to a plank and make it into a corner to fill that little space.

thats my solution of filling the corners now but i think it would be easier for it to just be a block

You could save a whole lot of durability on your chisel if you used slab mode instead of detailed mode.

Edit: To clarify, the slab mode works by shaving off entire layers of the block. So you would click 7 times on the front to shave it to a 1x8x8 sheet, then 7 times on the side to shave it do a 1x8x1 strip, then 7 times on the top to make a 1x1x1 cube. That's a total of 21 clicks, instead of trying to remove over 500 little cubes.

Pictures:

1. Place block and click 7 times using slab mode to make the 1x8x8 Sheet

2. Use slab mode on the far side to create a 1x8x1 Strip:

3. Use Slab mode on the top of the strip to make a 1x1x1 Cube

Same finished result as what you have in the video, but only took 21 clicks and therefore uses a LOT less durability on the chisel:

I'd like it if you could chisel non-cube planks as well, but I'm not really sure how doable that is, so...
