      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I made a TFC server at my mom's house and my friends were able to connect fine. But when I go to my dad's house it doesn't work and my friends get this error when they try to join:Failed to login: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">

 

I'm using Hamachi and I already checked a ton of stuff. I rebooted my computer. I made sure the IP matched up with Hamachi. We both even reinstalled Hamachi. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help me! D:

A quick google of the error looks like it's some sort of SSL authentication problem, if that helps you at all.

 

So it's definitely something to do with how you set up the server connection in general, and nothing to do with Minecraft.

There might be, but you're looking in the wrong place for a solution.

 

Your best bet is to go to some sort of support forum for Hamachi and see if they're familiar with the issue.

 

The only possible way I can see this issue being related to Minecraft in any way is if any of you guys are using an illegal cracked copy of MC, which we also do not support on these forums.
