      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I need a little help. I seem unable to make a bowl, with a knife and log, OR with a bit of clay. I'm pretty sure I got the clay mold right, but still couldn't make it. And on top of that, I have several fruit tree saplings; apples and plums. I went to start an orchard right beside my home but was unable to plant the trees at all! =[

with the trees, if you were planting them on grass, that is your issue simple solution is to just dig up that spot and place the dirt back.

...huh. Well that's weird. But yeah, that worked! At least now my fruit trees will grow. Now for the bowl... it's somewhat more important. I have no surface metals for miles, save for 2 platinum nuggets, 1 gold, and 1 limonite. And the mountains around me are full of what looks like copper and silver. I need to get a gold pan so I can get some copper and mine these taunting metals!

If you see copper and silver, you should be able to find copper nuggets somewhere

Yeah, that's what I thought. In previous versions I had no problems. But I've crawled up and down all over this mountain, even fell off it once and almost died [i play on Hardcore. This part was intense.] and still couldn't find any nuggets of ANY metal on top of where I see these in the mountains.

You can no longer craft bowls from wood, they must be made form clay. Please read the change log, it addresses some of these issues.

I know,  but I said I also tried clay and it didn't work. Someone on another thread showed how to form the bowl, but it didn't work. So I tried the knife and log and figured it wouldnt work, and it didn't. So I have no idea how to craft a bowl at all.

The recipe for the clay bowl that i saw on the forums was one row off just move the recipe down one row and it works.

Make sure you fire the clay bowls into ceramic ones before you use them.
