      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Support beam with different texture underwater for the appearance of having water surround it?

I just thought that that might look nice. Just to make it so that you can make docks with a proper looking support for them.

Support beams are for preventing cave ins. Any changes to them for reasons other than using them in this manner has a pretty much 0% chance of being added.

When seagrass and cattails were implemented I thought this would be nice for all non solid blocks like fences etc so water could actually flow through these blocks.

However when I realized how seagrass and cattails are actually implemented in TFC I understood that this is pretty much impossible. :(

This is a matter of modifying the block renderer, not much more. You could bug someone like Better Foliage guy to implement this, I'd think.

It is not only the render, but also behavior. The block must display the pillar, but also water. But the pillar will not appear under water with simple renderStandardBlock. It will use the double layer rendering, as the block of slime.Either use a TESR.But it also requires that the water block adjusts its height to block adjacent water.

People who understood my gibberish wrongly translated, put your hand in the air. :D
