Ever since I have been playing minecraft, I would love to be able to get something like half blocks that are vertical. That way you could make your house on the outside bricks and wood in the inside. it could get quite hard perhaps so its more of an idea when the whole mod is complete.

And also maybe potted plants ;D

And you can also suggest other decorative stuff here.

It's all in Red power mod. It would by cool but dunno how much work it would take and if bioxx want to do it anyway.

Maybe if we just added in "grates". Like a trapdoor block for a window or like the iron bars as well for windows. For potted plants I usually just made a dirt block w/ signs around it and toss a sapling on top. But I do think it'd be neat to have potted plants as decorations. I'm guessing they would be small blocks with a sprite/billboard plant texture on top (sprite as in like the saplings, mushrooms, sugarcane, etc.)

Like ormusn said, Red Power mod adds vertical and half vertical (also incidentally half-horizontal) and corner variants of all blocks. As well as halves of halves and halves of that etc. It's almost silly.

The rest of the stuff you suggest can be found in Better Than Wolves, so if you haven't stumbled upon it yet, check it out!

But to stay on topic, yes, all those additions would be nice to have in TFC as well. I like decorative blocks. I would very much like columns/pedestals (like in BTW) in TFC

I have played about every mod there is.

I know those mods have it, but those are normal cobblestone and normal wood, it would be nice to have that in TFC since that is the only mod I play atm.

I thought Mojang announced in 1.3 that slabs will be able to be stuck to walls instead of just floors or ceilings? So yeah, being able to put half slabs vertical should then just naturally be possible.

I figured it was only placing it horizontally but instead of having to place it directly underneath a block.

Looked it up, here it is:

When placed on the upper half of a block's side, they will be placed as top slabs

So they will be able to be placed on walls, but they are still horizontal. You just don't need to hazzle to make it a top half slab.
