      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

What now?

So I am in November 4th. Currently trying to pickle at least 800 oz of food ( went crazy with farming ) and I have a copper saw and pick and leather armor.I got some questions

So where the heck do I find copper ore ( tried mining and I am going to check out a area a days walk away.

And do I have enough to last the winter granted much of my food is decaying due to not being able to pickle it all quickly.

My set up for pickling is three whole barrels of brin/salt water each barrel takes a whole day to fill and pull back to my house. With two full barrels of vinegar /cider

But um any suggestions on what I might do?

Sorry for the random info trying to give the best details of what I have to get better suggestions. I'm new and yeah.. Thank you :)

Not quite sure what exactly you are looking for. http://wiki.terrafirmacraft.com/Ores_%26_Minerals Is helpful to know what rock types will spawn the various ores and minerals. Where ever the small ores are on the surface a vein will be present in that chunk within 30 blocks of surface. As you'll see malachite and tetrahedrite produce copper. You'll want to be upgrading to bronze as soon as you can.
