      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

How are changing the day length? I was under impression day length is hard coded in MC. Likely it will cause all kinds of havoc since the vanilla set time command is not compatible with TFC, you need to use the TFC time command. So unless it is a TFC addon it is unlikely to use right code to be TFC compatible. But again I'm not even sure how increasing day length is even possible.

i dont know if a normal mod can change the time length, im bored with the constant work at day and nothing to do at night, days are very short and nights are overcrowded of monsters, i want to have time to travel and more control over my duties. The spawn protection is tiny for this kind of life. 10 minutes for explore, load and unload things, care of farm, animals, build, mine, cut trees, preserve food and blacksmith. its hard to have a time on a chair looking the sunset

TFC just won't work if you mess with the time. It determines how long it takes for crops to grow, barrels to process, pit kilns to finish, food to cook, etc.

Try simply playing on peaceful mode and just working through the night. Maybe only turn the difficulty back up when you want a challenge like exploring a cave or something.

I think that TFC is mainly designed for multiplayer - the chores should be by divided among players.

but you can cheat and use the

/time add <millihours>
to advance time, it's like sleeping. Most if not all TFC time calculations will take this time jump into account, but do NOT use negative amounts, going back in time may mess something up.

The drawback of using this at night is that mobs will eventually not be spawned...
