      Server Move   09/13/18

I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup. The forum and wiki are now ad free. If you'd like to contribute to keeping it that way, you can do so via paypal or patreon.

so this seed has lots of flat space and fresh water right at spawn with a forest to the south. the screenshots are the cardinal directions from spawn and the large map was a few screenshots of my JourneyMap window saved and pieced together to make a whole map. (didnt have much RAM to keep hitting F2 but most of the things of interest that i have found at the time of posting this have been marked.)

Seed: -3464151652631816508

Edit: Forgot the "8" at the end of the seed. fixed now. should look as shown.... hopefully. and thanks kitty. didnt know how to do spoilers.

Update: Found limestone about 2500 blocks or so the the west of spawn and chert another 500- 1000 blocks or so after that.

Update: Seed still works but ores were shuffled around a bit. Forest in the south is almost all maple now as well. Tetrahedrite and copper found in the first 2 layers, so if you can't find copper, just try digging into the quartzite below and look for the tetra. Overall map gen is about the same though. Good luck all. ^_^V

That looks like a very good map, with the spawn is that right on the equator? Trying to remember the XYZ axis for TFC lol

Any luck finding Graphite on it so far?Seed doesn't appear to work, nevermind.

No and really? I have tried to load this seed on 3 different world's and it worked just fine for me. One time I added in an extra number rand it gave me a whole new map. Are you sure you typed it exactly as it was posted?

Yup, it might be that the versions we have are different though lolAre you using the latest version of TFC or do you have a previous one?

The only way that the version would affect what the world looks like is if you are using a different major version, like B78 or B77. General world gen does not change between minor version updates i.e. 0.79.0 through latest.

Edit: Can confirm that the seed listed in the original post does not match the screenshots in that post. Could you please double check that you copied it down correctly when creating the thread?

Ah I see, the screenshot you have embedded is the same world that I spawned in on so it might well be that OP has typo'd a number lol.

thats all dependant on you. all passive mob spawns are random for each time the world is created.

As they are condition based, cows in one world will often mean cows somewhere close in someone else's.

Cows like plains, big flat plains; find a plain, you'll often find cows. Not sure what temperature or dryness levels, wiki doesn't really say. Even though it hints for sheep and pigs.

Y 159

Z -14818

Note: It is inside a cliff face with casseterite deposits exposed to the surface

Found 3 large veins of graphite near those coords. I will post the exact locations once I get back on my PC later. Also how do I embed images? Lol Edited by Mathias Ademar

Either click on "More Reply Options" to bring up the full editor where you can attach the images directly and then click on the button it gives after you upload to include in your post, or upload the images to a 3rd party site like imgur.com adn then click on the picture that's next to the <> symbol and below the paintbrush and smiley up in the reply options and input the direct link to the image, not a link to a page the image is on.

Rather than using MCEdit in the future, if you are in /debugmode you can use the command /stripchunk that will remove all non-ore blocks from a chunk. /stripchunk 3 will remove all non-ore blocks within a radius of 3 chunks, etc.
