      Server Move   09/13/18

I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. 9 posts in this topic

Hey there,

I dont know if there is any topic like this /if yes I am sorry/ but I would like to know how to add shaders in TFC 0.79? Only a small instruction.

Thanks :)

I just followed the instructions to add shaders to "normal" minecraft.I forget where I found the information, but it wasn't easy finding it.If I remember correctly, you have to first download the shaader baseline mod and install it - run the game once and then there's a shader packs directory created. Put your shader modpack in there.

Sorry it's a bit vague, but if you search the normal MC forums (or even Google) I'm sure you'll find what you'relooking for.

My suggestion is to do a general search on shaders and look in the resourcepack and guide sections as I know there have been posts with instructions. You will need to add TFC water and likely lava to the config.

Depends on which shader pack you use. The enumeration is the replacement of numerical IDs, so it yes it is visible to everything, that's how the game references different blocks and items at a core level. Not all shader packs have switched over to be able to actually read those values from config files though, so you'll have to ask the author of the pack.

OK - I think I understand.

It's a kinda run-time definition of a meaningful name for a number rather that a proper enumerated type...
