      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

it doesn't carry any real importance, so I personally see no point in spamming your post count skyward. Then again I'm also college educated and therefore perhaps don't have the right mindset to appreciate that sort of thing.

To me, it's just a fun little aside to say 'Congrats! You have now wasted X amount of time posting ideas on the internet'

Unfortunately, I'm all too familiar with the kind of ridiculous elitism that can arise when dealing with "ranks" and the internet. I am convinced that some people swear by it as a genuinely sensible measure to assess the people behind the posts. Strange strange world we live in :P

...But what manner of value could rankings like that really confer? Idk, I just don't get stupid people... (and please note, for those who are insulted by this - unless you actually legitimately put some sort of value to having a high imaginary rank and leveling up your internet c**ks, I am not calling you personally stupid. And if you DO care about that, I have absolutely no problems calling you stupid right to your thick face. However, I doubt we have any such people on this -mostly- rather intelligent forum of respected peers)

Let's, between us all, try and slap the elitist stupidity out of anyone who tries and starts that crap, lest we end up like embittered hipsters, lurking on the forums and moaning about how "that wouldn't have happened when I still posted here" :L

...it just occurred to me that the platinum miner rank is a bit of a misnomer. You don't really mine platinum, you mine ores of what are primarily other metals, that happen to have bits of platinum in them.

Maybe replace with 'Metallurgist' or something?

Excuse me sir but can you please add guns like flintlocks or cannons as a weapon in this mod because the Chinese had invented cannons and flintlock rifles around the year of 1200 ad.
