      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

AutoGenerate Buckets For Mod Compatability

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the suggestions forum?(Yes/No): YesAnswering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted.Many mods add their own liquids, and have buckets for them. I suggest that either by config, or some automated system, TFC bucket variants be generated for mod fluids. This would increase compatibility with other mods in native TFC, without the use of specially made addons. Simply adding a vanilla bucket recipe is not only a very cheap solution, but it also breaks the feel of TFC, especially since vanilla buckets will place vanilla water, even though they were  filled from TFC water.

Just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly, you want to make it so that if there is another mod present that adds custom liquids, that you can pick them up with wooden or red/blue steel buckets? I think the biggest issue with adding something global like this is the fact that for a lot of liquids, being able to store them in a wooden bucket doesn't really make much sense. And the red/blue steel decision is for water versus lava, so that would also be really weird to try and automatically pick which color bucket should go for which liquid, considering that a lot of mod liquids have properties that make them nothing like water or lava.

Which is why I think a config would be better. That way, users who are adding mods liquids could then choose which bucket would work with the liquid.
