      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? (Yes/No):
Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted.
 Yes
TFC Version #: 0.79.26.881
Forge Version #:  1.7.10-Forge10.13.4.1566-1.7.10
Please note that an actual number must be provided for both of the above fields.
Simply saying "current" or "latest" will result in your post being locked, due to the fact that in a large number of cases, users who say they are using the "latest" or "current" version are actually using an outdated version.

Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No):
If you answered no to the above question, delete all 3 TFC config files (TFCCrafting, TFCConfig, TFCOre), do NOT edit or add to any of the files, and try to reproduce the bug.
This question is here because many bugs are caused by mistakes in config files. If you are unable to delete your edited config files, please provide a list of the config options you have changed.

Yes. This is my first install on this computer.
Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed? (Yes/No): Yes
If yes, which mods?

If you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? (Yes/No):
If you answered no to the above question, uninstall Optifine/Cauldron and try to reproduce the bug.
Both Optifine and Cauldron edit the base classes of forge that TFC uses. Because of this, we cannot officially support any issues that happen only when these mods are installed. In the majority of cases, TFC is not causing the bug; Optifine/Cauldron is and TFC can do nothing to fix it.
All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and ignored.

Pastebin.com link of the Crash Report:

Description:
Before I installed FastCraft, the screen would freeze every 5 seconds and my fps would drop from 200+ to 0 for a split second. After I installed FastCraft, the game ran smoothly for a day or two. Now the stuttering/screen freezing is back but every ~20 seconds but my fps doesn't drop to 0, it just drops by like 50. I have no clue what would cause it but if I were to guess: maybe it has to do with chunk generation(?), I also adjusted my JVM Arguments to:
-Xmx2G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn1G -Xms1G -XX:NewSize=512M -XX:SurvivorRatio=2 -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:ParallelGCThreads=4 -d64  -XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing -XX:+AggressiveOpts

Besides those two, I have no idea what would cause it. Any suggestion would be gladly appreciated. I just want to be able to enjoy TFC without the stuttering/fps drops/screen freezing. Thank you!

Could you try just loading forge and TFC with no other mods and see if the freezing still happens? If it doesn't, then it isn't TFC's fault and there really isn't anything that we can do to fix it.

As a side note: You're using a developer's copy of Carpenter's Blocks. Generally speaking, the only people who should be using developer copies are mod developers who are working in an IDE like eclipse.

I replaced the developer copy for Carpenter's Blocks with the regular one. I loaded forge and TFC and the screen stuttering is worse than before, I can see my fps dropping from 150-180 to 30-60 every few seconds. Afterwards, I installed FastCraft and loaded all 3. Without FastCraft, I get constant stuttering and fps drops. With FastCraft, everything runs smoothly (I even ran around in-game forcing new chunks to load and there was no stuttering or freezing for a good 2 minutes. I guess it was probably one of my mods causing it?

That's the most likely answer. Any mod that adds a lot of special rendering like minimaps, dynamic lighting, shaders, or custom block models like carpenter's blocks are all going to contribute to FPS drops.

Alright, I guess I'll try to cut down on those mods but it's so much more fun with them... Thank you Kitty for the quick replies!
