adding cherry blossom trees

Id like to suggest adding cherry blossom trees to the mod

My reason is how you have the date and seasons in this mod you could add them and they could be realistic in how they bloom and how they loss their flowers. The petals could slowly fall off the tree and also blow around and land on the ground and stay for a little bit.

They could use the same effect that tropicraft and tornadoes uses.

well there are cherry trees...and they go veg/flower at a certain time...also produce fruit...but i like the idea of "all" fruit trees droppin some fruit if not picked on ground in rezzed chunk for a set amount of time....

I'm sure there's a good reason why the fruit trees were changed to not drop as they did the first time fruit trees were released.

To be perfectly frank, if anything is going to be dropped, I'd prefer to see fruit as in last update rather than 'useless' cherry blossom petals. Nice idea, but in the scope of the mod and the single programmer we have, my vote is for actual progress. Maybe after this mod has a number of more updates and polish, I'd love to see 'fluff' like a cherry tree

i say make other ores and gems have a purpose befor addin more to alreaddy exsisting items with purpose

I'd like to see agriculture finished before we do anything. Kind of annoying when your on hard mode in a server trying to survive and the first 3 days is a scramble to get food. Granted pork chickens and cows work great... Unless theres 14 of you and everyone is starving cause you couldn't find enough food.

Well, terrafirmacraft IS meant to have an Earth-like environment. Trees are as much a part of the environment as anything else. I don't know why anyone wouldn't like to see more beautiful effects added to the game O.o

One of the most memorable moments in Dear Esther is when you walk through a mountainside garden and see all the flower petals floating around with the breeze.

It's not like Bioxx would put everything aside and only do this one effect... it'd go in a priority queue of things to get accomplished before release. It's the little things that add character to a game, everything else is just technical stuff. *remembers slaying unicorns in Terraria.

I think Jivix is right. If you brought this idea up again later when the mod as a whole is more fleshed out, I think it would have a better chance for a positive response.
