      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. I think it's the evapotranspiration ratio.

    From the changelog:

Evapotranspiration ratio(this is backwards as the vegetation in the region determines the EVT but I use it to determine how thick the vegetation in a given area will be)

  2. uhhh......nylon? synthetic fibers without factories?

Probably right, then something similar to it, for example a string sheet with some clay is waterproof I think.

  3. I can help you!

First of all welcome to the forum.

    Look in the spoiler

Well, now (I suppose you have 52d) you can't make stone pickaxe. Only a metal version of it. And TFC has a lot of metals.

The first thing you can see when you spawn in a new world (Probably) is those little grey or red buttons in the grass. Mine some of them because you need them to knapp the tools'head. To make this, put two round stones in your crafting grid and take the output stone. Perfect, now you're in the knapping gui. Here you can make knives, hoes, shovels, hammers (Yes, I said hammers), axes heads. Now that you have a tool head you need to put a stick below it in the crafting grid and you have your tool. You need now some metals to leave the stone age and you can get them in different ways (Just look at the wiki). Then you can make your first stone anvil, but for this you need a natural rock block that you can find...well...under the dirt obviously and with a hammer you right click the top of it and you have an anvil. Ok now seriously look at the wiki because I can't write all here but this is the starting part. Hope I helped.

  4. WOOOOW. You're incredible. Perfect the idea of a knife. And the balls and the sheets. You're like a tank full of ideas that is going to blow up. :P Yes...

  5. I don't think this idea is too complex to be implemented. Also other ideas:

    -A wet log in a firepit has a very small chance (Or customizable) to extinguish the fire;

-If you use a chisel in a mossy plank (Placed) you can get some moss and probably lose the plank. The moss can be used to decor your home to give it a "nature invasion" aspect

-If you like the camouflage, you can make yourself a complete armor of leather, then put some moss in it and you have a camouflage armor that forces enemies to come closer to you to see that you are there.

So it's all here for now...

  6. ...im not sure if it would fit in with the time period.

Damn too true. However thanks for this explanatory post. But I was thinking, and if the wet planks (blocks) have a small chance of decaying when placed, so buildings of wet planks will not esist for years. What do you think?

  7. Yes, it's a lot rarer than in 48g, where I made my first world. I found 5 deposits if clay in the surroundings of my home. And one of them had the appearance of a cave, but it was natural. Still searching like Jack in 52d.

  8. Or instead of a roof you can put some nylon on the log piles. But what I still don't understand is what can you make with wet wood? Can you dry it?

  9. This is what I really love of this mod. Ores are rarer than vanilla ones, but not too much. That makes you exploring the awesome generated underground world. And you can see awesome cave systems. All this happens only if the ores are rare. So keep searching and have fun!!!

  10. First of all welcome to the forums.

I like your idea, but the logs that need to be dryed are the log piles?

If yes a person that has a giant deposit of log piles out of his house needs to dry all them? Or only the piles exposed to air?

  11. Ok solved. Sage just download 52b, install latest forge 269 of the link in my other post, you can play with playerAPI 1.3, of course delete meta-inf.

Tried and no crash is present. Hope I helped to solve this annoying problem.
