I think you have too low upload to host server ( on default settings ) try lowering the view distance in the server config

weird dmg taking system witch:

a. prevents players from hiding in trees from mobs

b. prevents players from dying from height ( 10 blocks = 10 dmg )

c.  prevents players looking on the dynmap from hearing that they are getting killed

the raw stone textures are so bad i deleted them. Please make it better

Just had the same thing.

Lost around 120 levels of farming, 20-50 of each smithing - a lot basically!

 

I fell off the tower I was building and tried to save time by pressing alt+F4 to see if I'd spawn just before death (as I did 5 mins previously when the game crashed just after death).

Came back in, still dead.  Ok respawned.. No skills.

Quit game, reload, still no skills.

Sucky!

Any cheat to put some back?

eh so long time after 78.17 update and people are still able to find new bugs

I have a problem witch is linked to this bug sometimes on a server levels may never go back

when the server have low connection chances of this happenning increases

i lost my levels because huge lag got me stuck under minecart track in cobblestone not able to get out and caused me to loose all levels

this should be fixed as quick as possible

link to 128 version takes to 256 version please fix it

I used 7zip instead of win rar to get rid of _assets problem

It also unzipped faster than in winrar cause winrar was "fixing" the bug

also wood is not textured properly ( hickory have maple texture )

I will suggest truning off the nether, it's not used in TFC

for what do you need more than 1 ? just kill them ( i agree they are too loud )

I once played a hardcore world, and a skeleton was caught off guard in the sunlight. I tried to kill it by throwing javelins at it, but some how they all disappeared, and than the sun came out and I started hitting it with my stone axe until I just died. 

next time don't attack skeleton with slashing weapon ( use hammer or mace )

it's a vanilla bug
