Wow, can't believe I hadn't known about Cloudberries. Out of curiosity, do they actually naturally spawn in the game, if so they must be pretty rare?

This is something I've often thought about, and I can't wait for this change to happen. Would totally be at the top of my priority list! hehe

   Any additional information that would help your case: ive played on normal minecraft servers before and always had a great time on them also a big fan of the idea of haveng a homestead where you have to travel long distances to get supplys and to go to towns and just living and getting immersed in a whole new world. im also friendly and get along well with people

 Ive played on several other servers before such as roanoke is probably one of the main ones ive played on, as for minecraft Ive played several other modpacks with friends throughout the many years of played.

Any additional information that would help your case:  I love this mod and I just want to play on a server that I don't have to host myself, as that gives me a serious amount of lag.

Might I say, the head on the new bear model looks great, and I hope it can somehow be included in the reworked model of the bear. I think the new deer models also fits in nicely, so props on that. As well, I really enjoy the fish model, and hope it doesn't get changed to much. Just because the fish is composed of many small pieces doesn't mean those pieces(blocks) have to move independently of each other, does it? It seems like if just the tail/body swayed in the water, and the rest was for the most part stationary to each other it would look fine. Another thing, I'm assuming when everyone says things like "models should match vanilla models more closely", that doesn't mean vanilla models (like pigs and cows) aren't going to be reworked for TFC in the future?

Anyhow, keep up the great work!

Why would you like to join? I've got vanilla minecraft completely figured out. I want to try out something new, preferably on a server. What previous experience do you have with TerraFirmaCraft and Minecraft in general? I've maxed out nearly everything on my vanilla minecraft world. I've dabbled a little on servers, so I get the gist of it. I've been playing tfc for only a few weeks now, but I think I have the hang of it. Any additional info: I have a part time job and spend a lot of time already playing minecraft. Wy would you like to join? I've been playing TFC for a little bit but it's hard to keep going without someone else to play with. Making a server on my own proved to be too much for my lone computer to handle. So I figured this was the next best thing.What previous experience do you have with TerraFirmaCraft and Minecraft in general? I've been playing TFC for three months and I know it fairly well. I've been playing Minecraft for over three years and I understand the ins and outs completely.   I'm looking for a community to play TFC together with, given that it becomes rather stale after some time, when playing entirely alone.    What previous experience do you have with TerraFirmaCraft and Minecraft in general?:     I have been playing this mod in (mainly) older versions for quite some time. I didn't really advance past the point of getting black steel yet, though.

  Usually I put quite some effort into building semi-filigrane buildings with the help of plank-items (the 1x1x8 ones) as well as the chisel.

  (Though I'm not the most creative person out there, I'm afraid.)

 

  As for Minecraft, I started playing the vanilla game during Beta time (Yay discount ) and since then often come back to the game and various

  interesting mods whenever I feel like it. TFC is interesting in particular because of it's building mechanics being superior to Vanilla-MC,

  and realistically inferior to modpacks utilizing 8x8x8-mini-block blocks.

  Nothing much to say here. I'm just somebody looking for people to enjoy a great mod together Everything to say here would be bragging or

  flat out lying to cheat myself into your admiration.

 

    Edit: After taking another look into the opening-post, it might be good to note that recently I'm very in the mood to play TFC for extended amounts of

  time per day. Plus, as a student I have lots of time on my hands (Exam-phase, so when I'm not learning I have between 8 and 14 hours of time to spend.)

I was actually wondering, is it safe to upgrade an existing TFC 78.17 world to have ExtraFirma? I know the flowers and plants that are added in this mod will have to be found only in new chunks, but as far as game breaking threats go, is this a safe option?

Will you be updating to 1.7.10 along with TFC because i would hate to take your mod out of my modpack on the AT launcher. It is a great addition

I love that this idea is taking off, and that it actually has the potential to be implemented into the mod. I just wanted to throw in a few ideas, for you to potentially get inspiration from while modelling the canoe. Popular to the Native American culture of my area(the Kootenays in BC, Canada) is the Sturgeon Nosed Canoe. This is a pretty interesting model if I do say so myself, and I think it could give some great insight as to how primitive canoes were built. I'm not going to go into details as to what the Wikipedia page above has to say about the building of the canoe, but it involves multiple species of trees such as Birch for the bark and outer shell of the canoe, Willow for the frame and Cedar roots used for twine. Speaking of which, I think Red Cedars should be something to consider adding as well? Hah.. totally off topic.. anyways, here's a few pics:
