A fun small short thing to do...

Getting tired of grinding up all those ores? Need a break from babysitting the charcoal pit?

HERE'S YOUR TICKET TO A FUN CHALLENGE MAP!

NOTE: BACKUP YOUR .MINECRAFT AND ALL SAVE GAMES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO DO THIS. (unless you have different MC clients that you can load separate versions of minecraft on, in which case just copy the save to that location)

NOTE #2: UPON INITIAL LOADING OF THE WORLD, PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH IT. it may take several quit to menu / rejoining of the world before it settles down, as a lot of water will begin to fall, as well as some sand and gravel will also become aware of its anti-gravity position. MOST will maintain its airspace unless you like added challenge of racing against falling sand or gravel.

Let me show you all an example of my map after this;

I started on the wooden pathway just outside of the double doors there. the floor of the house was sadly just marble brick and vanished along with the rest of the dirt. an interesting note is that the doors will insta-break when you activate them. useful knowledge for the future challenge...

Thank goodness i made all my pathways out of wood half slabs (had to to maintain a uniform pathway color, however all other wood will become normal as well, however it will appear as though you cannot break it by hand or axe.) they assisted me to the nearest large waterway in which allowed me to start my journey to FIND THE NEW CHUNKS!

Aha! a desert! (i knew this was here beforehand, so i had hoped it would remain) This will help me gain ALOT of ground! or lack thereof!

Fun sequoia forest turned into sideways piles of logs for added silliness. these can be cut down and turned into planks to help bridge precarious gaps!

At last! I have found land! ... Now how do i get there...

The goal of these broken worlds is to find the newly generated chunks by updating a TFC world to 1.3.1 without mods. I used creative only to take these screen shots. This challenge is also better for people whom have explored a large portion of the world, as it will have a greater distance away to generate the chunks.

Once you have done that, either continue playing in there, or go back to your TFC world! just something fun to do inbetween updates or to keep you from going insane after mining for several days.

That's what i do at least. But yeah, what a good idea i may even create one of my own parkour maps, just for doing this.

EDIT: if you happen to have known one of those maps -really only one and another i left incomplete, back in MC 1.2-, you remember the fright when looking down to the lava and thinking that only your ability for jumping was keeping you alive? imagine that with one of those broken worlds
