      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

And also, a little bug related to this i discovered :P

It seems like javelins will make the same damage, no matter how much you charge it.

Also, when you have multiple javelins in the hot bar and use the rightest one, the leftest one will be retrieved of your hot bar instead.

This two things combined allow you to use javelins in a rapid fire style.

Now, i don't know if this is intended or not -although i want to think it's not-. However, i know a part of it that's not intended, and that i will report as a bug as well:

When you do this rapid fire trick, if the rightest javelin has lost some durability, once you throw every javelin and take them, they all will have the same durability the rightest one had, even when they were about to broke. So, be careful with this rapid fire thing, 'cause it may go wrong :P

Well yeah, but if you rapid fire that would mean standing up close and personal with a mob. Also, maybe it's just me, but I find javelins to be more useful for their long-distance shot (which is probably achieved by charging it up) not so much their damage.

Not really, i have tested this my self, and i have rapid fired dozens of creepers, skeletons and zombies from a long, safe distance, without failing even once. And i do find them useful for both the distance AND the damage, you can shot down any mob with one or two hits, from miles away.

i did minutes after i posted the first post :3 Apparently the "rapid fire" is a feature, now the fact that they share durability isn't. I think i'm not going to use a spear for melee ever again, just for avoid cheating.
