      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Ore Yields Question

I just started using this mod for the first time on beta 2 build 49, released on Sept. 05. After finally getting a bloomery working I started to smelt some of the ores I had collected from my sluices, namely small bismuthinite and native copper nuggets. It was my understanding that around four of them would result in a filled mold, but after smelting eight bismuthinite I ended up with only a half-filled mold and after three copper the damage bar was in the orange. It only seems to take me five sphalerite (I think) to make a filled mold using fire pits by combining the molds in the crafting table.

Is it that I'm doing something wrong? Is this a glitch in the latest build? Or is this the intended operation and I'm just confused? Thanks in advance.

Nuggets/small are quite a bit smaller than the un-prefixed kind, I'm under the impression that it takes around 14-16 small pieces for an ingot, whereas the normal size is 4 to an ingot.

15, actually, may even be slightly less.

"Large" (aka regular size, not small) nuggets are slightly under 4. I haven't yet worked out the exact values. Just that 15 small do fill a mold, and that 4 large ones have overflow (put a second mold in the fire).
