      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Is it worth playing on 1.2.5? 1.3.1?

I am currently having trouble getting GSLS to work with Terrafirmacraft for 1.3.2

As I searched the forums for older versions I am reading that its not worth going back to older versions. Is this true? So for instance, if I wanted to have the same experience on 1.3.1 or 1.2.5. as I would on 1.3.2 would I be loosing major features going to an older version of Minecraft?

I think the answer is probably yes but I figured I would check. Just in case!

TFC v47 and v48 are based on 1.2.5.

TFC v49 and v50 are based on 1.3.2.

v49 introduced some significant changes. Specifics are here. v 48 places all the biomes in close vicinity to each other (as in standard Minecraft), but v49 puts them very far apart (20k to get from equator to either pole). v48 is more stable, but version v50 lets you stack harpoons and other stone tools.

I think v48 is a great version, and certainly worth playing. It's different enough that it's almost worth playing both v48 and v50, if you had enough time.

If GLSL shaders worked well for me on 1.2.5 (they don't, I've tried), but not on 1.3.2, I'd definitely play on 1.2.5.

GLSL is incompatable with TFCraft. Doesn't matter if you use 1.2.5 or 1.3.2, it won't work.
