      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

How to setup a server

Title pretty much says it all! Iv seen other topics but they date a few months and that is never good!

It would be much appreciated! Do I need ports open, does it works with hamachi (actually can I just start lan world and connect via hamachi?

Thanks in advance! Could you make a nice step by step? :3

I don't use hamachi, but I have set up Minecraft TFC using the minecraft_server.jar.

General Minecraft server information can be found at: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Server

1. Download minecraft_server.jar

2. Install forge

3. Install player api

4. Start server, this will generate all the forge related directories

5. Stop server

6. Install TFC mod into mods directory

7. Delete "world" directory

8. Restart server

By install you mean drag the files from the forge and player api zip into the minecraft_server.jar ?

Aaaaaand I think I should delete META-INF in the minecraft_server.jar, do I need to?

Do not delete META-INF server side. Only on the client.
