      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

TFC Problem

So after a few tries I've successfully downloaded the TFC mod. Everything works fine except that the game gets stuck on loading world saves. It will just show me the text

Loading World

Converting World

And it wont stop unless I exit the game. Basically I cannot play.

Edit: Yes, I've downloaded the Player API and the latest Forge.

What version of minecraft are yo using?... if you are using 1.4.7 it wont work... it needs forge modloader .486 in order to work. I think that's the main problem.

I had this same problem... what you have to do is find forge .486 on the forge site (lol which fell out of the latest) forge is now on .5XX or .49x. you have to find a patcher like multi-MC and patch you game for 1.4.6 (downgrade it) and install forge .486.... it shouldn't matter what API you use.

To be slightly more concrete - the proper way to install TFC is:

- get a new/clean installation of Minecraft 1.4.6

- Install Forge build .486 (If Forge is down - here are some mirrors: http://ken.wingedboot.com/forgemirror/files.minecraftforge.net/)

- Install PlayerAPI v1.1, 1.2 or 1.3 for 1.4.6

- put TFC b75 in your mods-folder

exact the same procedure as instructed. Please do exactly what instructions say - there is NO source that says 'install latest Forge!'. Also keep an eye on the other mods - as for PlayerAPI - the main-downloads for mods all goes into 1.4.7 - but you'll need your files for an 1.4.6-Minecraft, so be sure to look for older version of this mods!

Thanks Waveshaper. I now fixed it, I downgraded to 1.4.6, I installed the correct forge build and the Player api,but now my minecraft will crash instead of not loading the saves.
