      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Problem with Texturepacks

Hello there,

just recently discovered this mod and loving it...

After finally getting it to run properly i tried installing some of the texturepacks... i made sure that they are updated for 1.5.1, but it seems that whatever TP i install, they change nothing...

I tried Parafirma, TFC faithfull and H3D... but they all look the same. :/

Is there anything different to make them run from normal MC?

b/c when watching youtube videos about TFC i find it looks more colorfull in there and generally nice then it looks for me...

Sad tho that stonecolds conversion of the LB Photorealism isn't been updated, since it is my fav TP.

textures packs that are in the texture pack section of the forum and updated to 1.5.1 should work and change the tfc texture. You change the texture the same way as in vanilla. If you use the launcher, I guess you have to put the texture in the launcher's texture folder.

Most of the tfc texture pack only cover tfc items. What I did is to unzip the texture pack in a folder in the texture folder, so it's easy to mix the texture you want. For example, I use the dirt texture of one pack and the ore of an other, all that on top of a vanilla pack. And now minecraft support mix of different resolution, so you can have 16, 32 and 64 pixel texture all mixed together in you custom pack.

Can help more of you are not able to use a texture pack. Just ask.
