IM NEW TO TERRAFIRMACRAFT AND IM TRYING TO DOWNLOAD THE LAUNCHER BUT EVERY TIME I DOWNLOAD IT IT WILL SHOW UP AS A RAR FILE AND LET ME LOOK AT ALL THE FILES IN THE GAME INSTED IF IT SHOWING AS A JAR FILE. WHEN I CLICK ON IT NO LAUNCHER COMES UP JUST THE FILES OF THE GAME

Well now i got it to open with java but when i click run a black screen pops up for 2 seconds and then closes

Next time, press cap lock on your keyboard, it will stop writing in capital letters.

have you tried modding a minecraft client the proper way instead of using the launcher?
