      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

euhm this is a bit strange but i downloaded the launcher unzipped it, but how do i start it? cus with tekkit/FTB u can just simplely click the launcher and it would launch the game. i can't find the damn launcher

You don't unzip it. You right click the .jar file you downloaded and do Open With -> Java instead of winrar

uhm if i do open with, there is no java in it. i have it installed

If you don't see that, click on Choose Default Program... and select Java from that Menu

lol i can't seems to place my pictures in, but i don't have those options u got. i am using windows 7 atm, the only option i get is: open with... and then another screen pops up but there is no java

If java isn't listed under Recommended or Other Programs, then you will need to use the Browse button and go through your program files to find java.
