      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

1 frame every 20 seconds

Iv seen the other topics about this but still they're talking about optifine and whatnot the problem is not my computer not having enough firepower. The problem resides somewhere else. Yes all my versions are up to date yes I have 64 windows and use 64 java.

My problem is when I use the render distance to normal or higher I can play for a random amount of time between 30 seconds to about 3 minutes and then I get a direct drop from a bajillion frames to 1 frame every 20 seconds. BUT if I stay at render short or tiny I get no problem at all!

One clue I have: when I put my render to far I get the message saying I should use the Java version 64, written in red at the bottom. but I clearly am not and I checked and re-checked and I have no other installation of Java anywhere. Please halp!

Another thing, sequoias seem to be bugged a lot. Chopping a log from its base crashes the game, still cuts the tree to the uses left from the axe, but doesnt drop any log, and doesnt break the axe. Cutting the rest down doesnt crash the game. But when you go to another sequoia, sometimes it will crash the same way, sometimes it will not. And leaves seem to stay too.

The sequoia crash is known and has been fixed for Build 77.

For the lag problem, you have to go through a couple of links in order to get the latest 64bit java. When just using the updater it comes with it just downloads 32bit. What exact version of java do you currently have installed? When going through your control panel to uninstall programs, it does only list one java there?

The sequoia problem is that they update too many blocks at the same time. On TT server, willow tree where a problem too. Cutting them sometime broke the chunk they where in and all the time with sequoia. And yes it's fix for 77.
