      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.

Anvil troubles

I downloaded TFC a while ago and never got to get very far into it, because the stone anvils don't work for me. 

 

I use a hammer on the right stone (I've checked the wiki and tried all of the correct ones) and then put my hammer in the slot, but the hammer doesn't appear on the anvil until I break or update a block next to the anvil. But even after that, I can't make an ingot on the anvil. I've made unfinished tin ingots and then heated them to the correct temperatures to work into complete ingots, but no rules appear.

 

If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

1. if you right click on the rock and it open a gui, yo do have the right type of stone.

2. Even if the hammer is not visible on the stone is not important, the important thing is that you have the anvil gui and a hammer in the hammer slot (shift click to be sure it's at the right place)

3. Heat it until liquid and as soon as it get solid, so you are sure it's hot enough, put it in the top left slot, or shift click it in and the rules should appear in red on the right side of the gui.

 

If nothing work, take a screenshot of the gui with the hammer in and hot unfinished ingot, with mouse over the unfinish ingot.

Well never mind, I just realized what I've been doing wrong. I didn't realize that one had to melt multiple rocks into one ingot. Thank you for attempting to help even though it was my fault it was happening. Hahaha

Yes, indeed, it's a partial unfinish ingot.
