      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

In regards to the launcher issue

As I noticed in another thread, the launcher fix is waiting on the return of the site administrator.

 

However, seeing as someone was able to upload the new Build 76 Hotfix 19 file to the terrafirmacraft.com/files/ directory, might not that someone be able to fix the old URLs in the tfcfiles1.json file that are breaking the launcher's update process?  All it would take is removing "index.php?sdmon=" from two of the URLs to bring the file up to date with the current site.

 

This would of course still leave the news feed part of the problem, but it would at least allow anyone who has the launcher to install, update and launch the game with it.

Update would be something else though (one more character difference, right?).

But I have a feeling that the new site had or still has load balance problems. Anyway there's lots of work managing it of that I'm sure. It might seam a little and easy-to-do thing, but in the background it might be connected to a bigger issue.

On the other hand it's high time to do either this or disable the launcher competently if that's possible, I'm not sure.

Just to end the flood of these threads.

A crash makes people nervous, an apology "just" sad and angry.

Why indexing is enabled in

http://www.terrafirmacraft.com/files/
in the first place? On the old site it was not. I like it this way, but it might not be done conceptionally.

This is definitely not an over seen mistyping.
 
Be patient. Wiki is back. There's an installation guide there.

 

There are numerous mod loaders. With them even easier to install and manage mods.

I use magic launcher.

Yes, I definitely don't know what other factors might be involved.  I just figured that I might as well make the suggestion since I have been playing with a self patched launcher.

 

And, one more character would likely be functional, but three would make it proper.  ;)
