      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Armor bug

It just seems like armor isn't working. I have steel helmet and chestplate but still take lots of damage? Could you fix this in the future?

By the way, add a texture to cheese please

Both issues have already been reported, and the second has already been fixed for the latest hotfix. Until it is released, rename your cheese.png file to Cheese.png

Ah thanks, just I don't understand why if I put cheese to capital letter will work but ok. And will armor be fixed for next hotfix?

Java is case sensitive, so it sees c and C as two completely different things, hence why it can't find cheese.png, but it can find Cheese.png

 

As for the armor, I have ho idea. It's been reported but it hasn't been looked into just yet.

Not to sound like or dick or anything but why wasn't this looked into? It was reported at least a week before the most recent hotfix and it's what I'd classify as a serious bug. Especially considering how hard tfc is with the new mobs and all

Because the devs are already working on Build 78, and often don't check the bug lists unless someone tells them personally. They've already moved on to creating new features, which leaves the rest of us minor bugfixers to do any hotfixes. I personally haven't looked into it because I have no idea why it isn't working.

On the armour issue, PLEASE make metal armour a bit more worthwhile than it was previously.You have to spend hours, and use a shed load of metal to get the armour and then it disintegrates after a couple of arrow hits???

Even Dunk is recorded saying it wasn't worth it.(Yeah - I'm exaggerating a little here but you get my point.)

I don't know what you're talking about. Steel armor was 100% worth it. Anything else was meh but steel was basically 100% protection that lasted a reasonable amount of time.
