Download problem

Hi everyone 

 

I've recently came across this mod and decided to try it since I think it's awesome. The problem is, when I try to download it ( from the link in the download section http://terrafirmacraft.com/download.html it just stops downloading before even having completed the download (sometimes halfway others less and others more) but it shows like completed (other times it just stops with the message: Network error) leaving me with and incomplete, empty .zip with which I can't do anything besides eliminating and trying to re-download again (which I've done 10 or 15 times already with no success)

 

I tried downloading older files (from http://www.terrafirmacraft.com/files/) and they do the exact same thing... I have to say that apart from not completing the download, it goes really really slow ( I usually go like 500kb/s and they're going at like 5 or 6kb/s). At first I thought it had to do with the browser I'm using (Google Chrome) and decided to try with Mozilla ( I've even tried with Internet Explorer), then thought it was my computer or my internet connection, tried with another computer which wasn't in my LAN, exact same thing.

 

I searched the forums for others with this problem but couldn't find anything so I decided to start one on my own hoping you could help me sort this thing out since I really want to try this mod.

Wow thanks for the epicly fast answer  Unfortunately I had already tried it, and tried again once more few secs ago and still doesn't work... Is it possible to upload it somewhere else? Because I've been searching on this matter and found out other people had this problem (except they were asking in kittychanley's video how to install terrafirmacraft, ranging from 3 weeks to 3 and more months ago) and still didn't find an answer to it

Where are you located Delgi? I've just downloaded the file  today, on both my home laptop and in my school's computer lab with no issues.

 

As for the comments on my video, those people were having problems downloading because the site as a whole was down, not because the downloads page was broken.

Was the second computer that you used, that wasn't part of your LAN, using a connection maintained by the same ISP? It's possible that there is a firewall somewhere along your connection preventing international downloads.

Yes it's using the same ISP but I don't think there's anything blocking it since I've downloaded tons of mods for MC without any problem.

Have you got another dl link or something of the kind? Or another way to fix this issue?

If you haven't gotten it to work, you could get the technic launcher which has a way to install it.

You sir, deserve a medal    Thank you very much, I downloaded it (can I post the link in case anyone else needs it? It comes with IT, REI's, Opti and (of course) TFC) and worked like a charm
