      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Bonus Chest?

No bonus chest for starters? Or maybe spawn a zombie with 1 health 5 blocks above you with an inventory of the bonus chest so the player won't have a bonus chest.

 

It could contain a bit of food, one-three seeds of some plants, or some stone tools. Some metal ingots would help too, since players can't process it without a forge/anvil.

Some metal ingots would be unless until you get a forge, and by then, you should be able to get a decent supply of metals.

I don't think you need bonus chests as food and crops/crops seeds are actually pretty easy to get.

 

And you can still cheat some items in if you want

Have to agree. There is always NEI for the people that want a boost out of the cruelty of the first nights.
