      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Servers wont work

Me and my friend were trying to get on to some servers, and an error message popped up that said we required terrafrimacraft : 0.78.12. The servers were happy diggers and quarentine gaming. Any help would be apreciated.

Welcome to the forums. I've actually never heard of that launcher, so we don't actually officially support it. The latest version of TFC is indeed 78.12, and I'm guessing that launcher is using an outdated version. You can download 78.12 on our downloads page and there is an link on that page as well for the installation guide on the wiki.

 

Edit: We also do not support use of any Technic/Tekkit related launchers, so if you are using that we won't be able to provide you any further support.

I do not really understand why people go to all the trouble of finding modpack launchers for tfc. If you do not like the vanilla launcher, use Multi MC. Terrafirmacraft is only a single mod, it's not as if you had to change a lot of setting in order to be able to make 50 mods work together. And when it's time to upgrade, you only have to update one mod.

We do not support use of the Technic launcher due to it's past history of disrespecting mod authors as well as the fact that it does not require mod author permission to distribute mods, often violating copyright licensing.
