      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

You can heat the mold in a forge. Once it gets to the metal's melting temperature you should be able to pour again.

Did your ceramic vessel solidify, so you can't open it to put more molds in?

If that's the case, you need to refire the vessel in a pit kiln. You'll have 10 hours after the pit kiln finishes to use the vessel before it solidifies again.

I'm not sure if you can put ingot molds in a pit kiln, but if you can do that!

If not, melt the ingots down again in a crucible or let the ingot melt in a forge with ingot molds in the side to catch the molten metal :D

Is your ingot mold completely full and liquid temperature? Is your tool mold completely empty? If so, you need to right click the liquid temperature ingot mold and put the tool mold in the first slot to the right of the arrow. The arrow will animate to show that it is working.

What are you exactly trying to cast? You can use tool molds for Copper, Bronze, Bismuth Bronze and Black Bronze. If you're using any other metal, it's not going to work because that item doesn't exist.

I think he means that he has metal in a ceramic mold and wants to use it to cast a tool, but he has waited too long and the metal has cooled so much that it is no longer liquid.

In that case, kaldskryke's answer should be everything he needs to know.
