      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

So, just out of curiosity, does anyone know, what this is, or what causes it?

 

The server seems to log this, for about 20 lines, before it crashes.

the boxes typically means that you don't have a language file (opining a text in an Asian language or Arabic will show the same result), but on a crash log. . . not a dam clue.

Weird... It happens when the command to dole out the RP score happens. As well as when someone goes AFK.

If you could supply the crash report that is generated when the crash happens, we could be a lot more help. But it looks like this crash is the fault of one of the plugins you are using, and has absolutely nothing to do with TFC.

 

With the crash report I could probably tell you which plugin is causing it, but after that you would have to go ask the support team for that plugin to get your problem fixed.

That is a console log, not a crash report. It has absolutely no information whatsoever on it that I can use to diagnose the problem. You said that this was causing the server to crash. If this is actually the case there would be a crash report file generated. That is what I need.

 

Edit: Does this server use some sort of plugin for a ranking system? If so, is there a rank between Tin and Bronze (perhaps Copper?). If that's the case, it looks like it is showing the unknown characters whenever it tries to print information regarding users with the Copper rank. I'd suggest going to where you got this ranking plugin, and ask for support from their team.

Mmmk, and, I gave you the only file he gave me. I did request the crash report file, but I cannot upload that until he sends it to me. I am working as an extension of him to try and help figure it out. I posted here because:

 

A: Ive never seen a server do this.

B: I figured there might be someone here who has had a similar problem, and may have had some insight to it.

 

I am also working with limited resources here, please allow me the courtesy of understanding that. I am sure it was not your intention, but you are coming off as incredibly abrasive, and I am only trying to ask for help, with the limited information and resources I have.

This is the internet. There is no way to add emotion to text on a page other than any emotion that you yourself are adding to it as you read. I am simply stating the facts of what you have given me, and what I actually need in order to be able to help you.
