[Solved] Straw & Hide Bed

Description: pure vanilla TFC server crafted a straw and hide bed attempt to sleep at night only receive message tile.customeBed.sleep

 

Unable to utilize the bed just lay it in and nothing happens.

tile.customBed.sleep actually is supposed to say "This bed is too uncomfortable to fall asleep."

Unlike the vanilla bed, straw & hide beds do not set the time to dawn; they only reset the player's spawn. To alert the player of this difference, getting into the bed will result in a chat message of "This bed is too uncomfortable to fall asleep."

Ah well we have been unable to use it to sleep. We have had all but one player disconnect and then had the one remaining one attempt to sleep. so far no luck. :x

... Did you not read what I just posted? You can't use the straw bed to sleep. It is only used to set spawn point.

 

Edit: To clarify: When you lay in a straw bed and time does not pass, this is the intended behavior. The only thing you can use a straw bed for is that it will set your spawn point while you are laying there. That's it. It is too uncomfortable to fall asleep in, so you need to get out and go back to doing things. It is not used to pass the night.

I apologize for that it was late and alcohol was involved in our decision making on how to handle things. Which also apparently made me and everyone else incapable of reading English. I do indeed see that now tho the quoted text is a bit hard to read being gray on white.
