Silk Bed

I did a quick skim of the forums, and while I remember this coming up years and years ago it hasn't been posted recently.

 

So, how about a high tier bed that heals you quicker when you sleep in it?

 

4x String = Silk Cloth.

 

Place 3 Silk Cloth over 3 Wool, and that Wool over 3 Planks, receive Silk Bed. While sleeping, heal at double speed (though you'll still need to eat accordingly when you wake up.)

You can already make silk cloth on the loom, and it is currently a direct replacement/alternative for wool cloth, for players who just can't find sheep.

Hmm.. Let's check on what kind of beds we have in TFC. Straw bed, wooden bed, and... Nothing. Yeah, I think we need a higher tier bed that makes resting on it beneficial for the player. I also think on adding an even higher tiered bed, which is the gold bed. Work a gold double plate to bed frame, place the bed frame, add 16 lumber, add 8 wool for extra fluffiness, place 4 silk(not wool) cloth, and a clock(work gold plate and craft with redstone)(at this point, replace the construction with actual bed block for performance)and now you can sleep/rest whenever you want, regardless of monsters, with 4x passive regen (not food-based regen).
