      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

TFC is very resource heavy. This is not a bug or a memory leak. Keep in mind that while you may have a lot of mods installed while running a DW20 modpack, the terrain when using that mods is much smaller. In vanilla Minecraft and in mod packs such as DW20, sea-level is around Y=64. In TFC, sea-level is around Y=140. That's at least twice as many blocks in the world that are being generated and loaded at a time. Also make sure that you are using the version of Forge that TFC was built on, as well as installing fastcraft on your server to help with performance.

When cuchaz's CC mod will be released, will it be compatible with TFC? It would be less lag, and it would be possible to make higher maps!

If you're talking about the cubic chunks mod, the answer is no because it is not a forge mod.
