      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Wiki Biomes page

I am configuring a mod that needs biome information. The Biome page in the wiki states that the page is not updated.

Question, is there any other biomes?

You can output biomes with IDs with NEI data dumps.

Thanks I got it.

I am trying to include Animals plus in one of my servers.

It's a pity tfc biomes do not specify temperature.

Most mods only look for the biome name.

In an attempt to increase mod compatibility it would really help if we could multiply the tfc biomes by 3 and have then with a prefix of hot, temperate and cold.

vanilla biomes have that in the biome name.

Right now for example I need to choose a biome to spawn penguins, easy task in vanilla, not so easy in tfc.

Either I will have it spawning in hot biomes or not at all.

I really do believe having biome names reflecting the overall climate of an area would increase mod compatibility by a lot.

I am no java developer maybe I am just talking no sense here. If that is the case, please correct me and forgive me if I offended anyone.

Just a concerned player here.
