ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -
This forum is now READ ONLY! 01/20/2020
As of this post and forever into the future this forum has been put into READ ONLY MODE. There will be no new posts! A replacement is coming SoonTM . If you wish to stay up-to-date on whats going on or post your content. Please use the Discord or Sub-Reddit until the new forums are running.
Any questions or comments can be directed to Claycorp on either platform.

Might wanna edit your post. But to follow up to your post, he isn't going to do it because of the unnecessary work it entails.

Holes are because of vanilla minecraft...This just isn't so people. It's a lot less predictable than that. Since 1.4.x I have not been able to run TFC on either my old computer or my new one. Old is a i5-2500K with a GTX560, new is an i7-3770K with a GTX680. In both cases, without opti I have giant holes if I go much beyond the spawn point and with Opti I have crashes frequently and low fps. This is with nothing but the bare essentials (forge, player, tfc). There is something else occurring for some people.

Ores are generated randomly not according to seeds.

Illegal but it works. What is wrong with MCnostalgia?
Also, don't just google minecraft.jar 1.4.6, I'm pretty sure that is illegal.

TFC Shouldn't lag, it's most likely is just your computer.
You can only used the lower class gem for a protection meter, higher class gems don't have a use.

Good to hear.Alright, so it's given me an "Invalid or corrupt jarfile Minecraft_Server.jar" error. Does this mean I just installed it incorrectly or something else?
EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it!

You could upload raw footage to a youtube channel if that is an option. No need for any fancy editing knowing how busy you are. It might be easier to just simply record with fraps and upload raw seeing as how finicky live streaming is, you would also be able to be viewed by a larger audience.

For mac, just incase anyone is interested, same steps but instead of a .bat file, you create a .txt file in textedit and change the extension to .commandTake a look in my signature.
Inside that file you put,
#!/bin/bash
cd "$(dirname "$0")"
exec java -Xmx4G -Xms4G -jar Minecraft_Server.jar
(I used 4G because I am running the server with 4GB, that can be changed to how ever low or high you want).

No, you are whining. You are saying something needs to be easier that is already easy.Really? Wow that's great.
I'm not whining, jackass. I understand that it is supposed to be "difficult"

Image is to small to view. Not to mention your second image isn't done properly.

Edit: Not relevant anymore.

There are multiple problems right now with the new sectioned blocks. This should be fixed eventually.

Something that I loved that was implemented lately was the Connected stairs. The only thing is that this hasn't been worked into TFC yet, which to me is something I feel is lacking and would be extremely useful when making roofs if that is your artistic view. Is this hard to implement?

Thanks for decreased spawn rate!

In my area it's like that almost everywhere.[ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] tags are used for spoilers.
And it does seem like there are a lot of boulders there, but have you explored? Is it just that one area or are boulders that common everywhere? It would make sense that there would be an area with numerous boulders.
Uploaded more from around the area.

Put some up for you.I would say something 'bout this... If i knew how boulders look like and how much they spawn. I haven't had time enough to play lastly, so i haven't seen boulders... mind posting an screenshot?

Just a suggestion, turn down the spawn rate of boulders in land generation, please?

For some reason I expected this to happen... It is 2 different types of blocks trying to occupy the same place, can only end in disaster.

This was a common issue in vanilla Minecraft while using wooden half-slabs for quite some time.

Just saying you completely tossed aside his idea. His idea was to have byproducts, yes already suggested, as a result of everything you make. Not having multiple options of results from the same recipe, though that would be cool.Ejem... *points at the last paragraph of his own post* just sayin' :rolleyes:/>

Agreed. It's impossible to differentiate people. You could try to have a medical system where someone is held after they die and they can't leave until they are healed, using thing you could also implement specific limb damage. This is believable." I think if you kill someone, a PvP kill specifically, the killed player should be sent to a different area, say the nearest prison block available for example, instead of spawn or their bed."
But what if he returns with a thief friend, kills you pvp style, and you were sent to prison? For defending your property.... makes no sense.

That's the thing, with the planned newly designed launcher this wont matter, in fact it would probably balance out. Incase you haven't heard, Mojang is recreating the launcher to be less system intensive. I would like to hear a mods opinion on my idea.Hm... Your approach will be heavy on performance. Or not, depends on how nutrient system tick implemented.

The effect not to be random, but calculated based on how much something takes up to how much something gives out, this would also be affected by the type of dirt. This leaves us with thousands of different types of things to mess around with. If you don't read online much you won't be influenced by other people, thus having to experiment yourself. But that is an if.
